Rising water levels threaten Cuba’s capital Havana

Earlier this month, Hurricane Irma caused severe flooding and damage across Cuba‘s capital.

Ageing infrastructure means Havana is especially vulnerable to the effects of climate change and rising water levels.

And as tropical storms become more frequent, residents are being forced to look for new ways to stay safe.
